The Flames will Rise

Long before men carved their names into the earth, the guardian watched. The forests were his, the rivers whispered his name, and the mountains bowed in silent reverence. He was neither god nor beast, but something far older—a force of nature, born of fire and moonlight. Now, as flames coil around his antlers and his molten eyes ignite the dark, he stands once more. Not in anger, but in reckoning.

The sky glows crimson, the scent of burning leaves thick in the air. The land has been tainted, its balance forgotten, and so he walks again—not to punish, but to cleanse. For fire does not destroy without purpose. It tears down, so something greater may rise. The legends tell of those who sought to challenge him, men who thought themselves beyond the will of nature. None remain. The forest still whispers their warnings. The flames still remember their names.
