Here’s how to get started.
1. Choose Your Image
Pick an image that fits the tone and energy of your deck or your favourite TCG. Great choices include:
- Artwork from your favourite card or faction
- A custom deck logo or gamer tag
- High-resolution TCG wallpapers
- Anime, fantasy, or retro designs with a game-focused feel
- Photos or designs that reflect your personal play style

We also include free image cleanup with every order — so even if it’s not print-ready, we’ll fix it up before it goes to production.
2. Pick Your Size
We offer two playmat sizes depending on your setup and how you play:

Single Player – 600mm x 350mm
Standard tournament-sized mat for personal play -
Two Player – 600mm x 700mm
Designed for two players sitting opposite each other. Great for casual duels, cube nights, and shared tables.
3. Choose Your Thickness
Comfort and feel matter — especially during long games or tournaments. That’s why we offer two thickness options:

2mm – Sleek, compact, and easy to transport
Ideal if you prefer a firmer feel under your cards and a lighter carry in your bag. -
5mm – Plush, soft, and more forgiving on the wrists
Great for longer play sessions or if you like a bit of cushioning during gameplay.
Both thicknesses use our premium closed-cell foam core, built to resist curling, slipping, and wear over time.
4. Decide on Overlays
Want zones printed on the mat to help guide gameplay? You can choose between:

No Overlay – Just your artwork, clean and immersive

With Overlay – Adds card zones, play areas, or field layouts specific to your game
If you choose “With Overlay,” you’ll be asked to select your TCG from the following supported options:
- Digimon
- Dragonball Z Super

- Yu-Gi-Oh!
You can also add custom text to your overlay — like your name, deck title, or event name — and we’ll integrate it seamlessly into the design.
5. Upload Your Image
Once you've made your selections, you'll upload your image directly during checkout.
We support all major file formats.
Not sure if your image is high enough quality? You can contact us before or after you place your order — we’re happy to review it.
Every upload gets our Tako Pixel Polish treatment:
- Colour correction
- Sharpening and detail enhancement
- Alignment with overlay zones (if applicable)
- Removal of blur, artefacts, or unwanted elements
6. Approve Your Mockup
Before we print your playmat, we’ll send you a final mockup for approval. It comes directly from one of our in-house designers via email.
Important!!! Check your inbox and your junk folder — we won’t print anything until you’ve approved the layout.
Like it? Approve and we get to work.
Want a change? Just reply — we’ll adjust it until it’s perfect.
